We believe that the Scriptures make clear that we have an obligation and privilege, as Christians, to proclaim to a lost and dying generation the riches of the Gospel of Christ! The Bible makes clear that sinners will not be saved unless they hear the Gospel. Romans 10:14 says, “How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher?” We greatly desire to be used by the Lord as He gathers His people to Himself in our generation and in our city.
There are many ways in which we encourage people to proclaim the good news of Christ to the lost. Evangelism begins in the home and extends to our daily lives; whether its a mother raising her children, in the workplace, or with our neighbors, or random interactions with people we come across during our day, all of these places are our "mission field". We also regularly pass out tracts on the 2 major college campuses in our city as well as on the Seawall downtown, and of course anywhere the Lord opens the door. We regularly pray the Lord would open doors to be able to have conversations with people in all these different areas.
