2024
CorpusChristians
Conference
August 30 - 31
REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED, however no one will be turned away.
It was necessary to have a cut-off day to register to ensure we had a good estimation of how many will be attending in order to order enough food for the catered lunch on Saturday. If you did not register but are able to attend the conference, please come!
Our speaker this year will be Ryan Fullerton, an Elder at Immanuel Baptist Church in Louisville KY.
A Brief Bio:
Ryan was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and grew up all over western Canada. Throughout his teen years, he pursued political causes to make him feel righteous and then drugs and sex to make him feel happy. Thankfully, when he was 21 he found his righteousness was a joke and his happiness had turned sour. Through the simple and intelligent witness of his step-mom, he came to trust Jesus Christ late in the evening just before Good Friday in 1995.

Shortly after his conversion, he studied at Prairie Bible College in Three Hills Alberta, and then at Tyndale College in Toronto, Ontario. In Toronto, Ryan worked in an inner-city church under the leadership of Dr. Stephen Beck. He also met the lovely Christy Joy Teal who became Christy Joy Fullerton shortly after their graduation from college.
The next eight years were a whirlwind and included drilling for oil, pastoring a church in a town with a population of 311, having four children (Jordana, Luke, James, and Jones), starting seminary, stopping seminary, and becoming (somewhere in there) the Lead Pastor of Immanuel.
CORPUSCHRISTIANS CONFERENCE how it began
The CorpusChristians Conference originated several years ago as an annual conference put on by Grace Bible Fellowship as a means to gather together to glorify God by sitting under sound preaching and to enjoy Christian fellowship and the company of a few other churches we had ties with which were located in cities scattered around Texas.

As our meeting place wasn't big enough to host such an event, a few years River Hills Baptist Church blessed us with access to their fellowship hall and grounds to use for these meetings.
Over the years, a growing desire to cultivate and develop unity and fellowship between other like minded pastors and churches in our own city began to grow among the Elders and body at Grace Bible Fellowship. This conference became an avenue to try to achieve this desire.
Last year, 2023, RHBC joined with us in co-hosting this conference. They opened up their facilities, and met together with us, along with a few people from other like-minded churches in our state, our city, and surrounding cites and towns. Our desire, and our prayer to our Heavenly Fathers, is that He will cultivate a greater desire, not to form some sort of official "association", but a true Spirit led bond of love and unity between His people that will allow fellowship, ministry, friendships, and whatever else the Lord may be pleased to do with this desire. If it is simply an annual meeting of churches and people that Love the Lord that share in a desire to spend time with more of His people, sitting under the preaching and teaching of Scripture, sharing a meal together, and taking time to get to meet and encourage one another, building up the Body, then praise the Lord, these are glorious things! Only the Lord knows what will become of this, and He knows best. Our greatest desire is to be used by Him to glorify Him. We hope you will be a part of this.
